From the humble streets of Nyamirambo to the visionary circles of Africa’s elite creators, one man has quietly built a reputation that now whispers loudly in the halls of global fame. His name? TUYISHIME Faycal Hassan — globally known as Fayzo Pro — a filmmaker, director, and cultural architect whose lens has captured more than just visuals… it has captured the soul of a continent. Fayzo is not chasing trends. He is creating them.

A Story Not Written in Scripts, but in Struggle and Triumph

Long before streaming platforms reached Rwanda, before music videos had high-definition clarity, a young dreamer in Ngoma-Kibungo was learning — not in classrooms or fancy studios — but by doing.

He first touched music as an artist in 2006, but the cost of studio sessions led him to switch roles. By 2008, he was studying the art of video. By 2010, his directorial debut hit the scene: “Amafanga” by Elion Victory. That was just the beginning of a cinematic storm.

“I didn’t wait for opportunities. I created them. I didn’t need permission to dream,” Fayzo Pro told Global Vibe News.

Since then, over 500 visual productions have passed through his fingertips — each shot echoing his belief that African creativity deserves a global spotlight.

The Pan-African Collaborator

Fayzo is not just a local legend. He’s a cross-border force. His collaborations span Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Congo, Benin, and others. When he directed the now-viral hit “Iyo Foto” by Bruce Melodie and Bien (Sauti Sol), the industry took notice.

That project was his passport — not to leave Rwanda — but to bring Rwanda to the world.

“Working with international talent expands my mind, sharpens my art, and deepens my responsibility to tell authentic stories,” He reflects.

Awards on the Shelf, Fire in the Spirit

His accolades include the BAE Award (Nigeria), the Isango na Muzika Award, and the Kalisimbi Award — symbols of a growing legend. But Fayzo doesn’t pause to count trophies.

“These awards are a signal that my work resonates. But my greatest award is yet to come — the Grammy, the Oscar, the MTV Europe Music Award — I see them, and I’m walking toward them.”

Envisioning the Day the World Stands Still

Imagine this:The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The world’s cameras zoom in. Fayzo Pro walks the red carpet in a custom African suit embroidered with Kigali gold. His name is called. The crowd erupts.

“I dedicate this award to the youth of Rwanda, to every African who believed their story mattered. Our time is now!” he declares onstage, under global lights.

Back home, at Kigali International Airport, fans gather. Media crews wait. Bouquets of roses, songs of celebration, and family tears of pride. International celebrities flood his inbox. Offers flow in from Netflix, Universal Music Group, Disney.

And Fayzo? Still grounded. Still focused.

A Legacy Mentored; A Future Earned

Among those who shaped his journey was the late Alain Muku, a music legend and father figure to Fayzo.

“Alain gave me more than advice. He gave me opportunity, humility, and a moral compass. Half of what I am, he helped unlock,” Fayzo remembers.

His influence continues to guide Fayzo’s creative ethics: discipline, kindness, and respect for time.

To Rwanda and Beyond: The Mission Continues

Fayzo speaks not with arrogance but with earned confidence:

“Those who said we’d never reach international screens… look again. Today, Rwandan music and visuals are on DSTV, YouTube, MTV, Trace. The dream is no longer impossible. It’s unfolding.”

He calls for investment, mentorship, and audience belief.

“Music and film are not hobbies — they are industries. They can feed families, build empires, and change the global narrative of Africa.”

Eyes on Kigali, Heart Set on the World

Fayzo Pro’s name is no longer just local. It’s continental. Soon, it will be global. His productions are ready for international stages, red carpet premieres, film festivals, and international media headlines. He is not just a director. He is a cultural ambassador, a storyteller, and a torchbearer of Rwanda’s creative rise.

As the world tunes in, Global Vibe News proudly says:

“Hollywood, take notes. Africa has spoken. And Fayzo Pro is holding the mic.”
